Behind The Scenes of Creating our Handcrafted Cat and Dog Toys
All of our cat and dog toys are fully handmade from start to finish!
We wanted to give you a sneak peek of how we handcraft them! First, I create the cat or toy design completely from scratch in my embroidery software.
This is also where I add the personalization to toys- like names or dates.
Then I sent over my designs to my embroidery machine. That's where we stitch out my designs onto fabric!
After the toy is done stitching, the fun begins- putting the cat or dog toy together!
I then cut out the toy (1st image). Flip the toy right side out and trim the threads (2nd image). Stuff the toy with soft stuffing and catnip or a dog squeaker (3rd image). Then I handsew the finished toy closed (4th image).
Lastly, I package up the toy in a cellophane bag to keep the catnip fresh during its journey to you! I then tie the bag closed with a ribbon so that your cat or dog toy is perfect for gift giving!
